Unit 1 MY NEW TEACHERS
第一課時
教學(xué)目標(biāo)與要求
1、能聽、說、認(rèn)、讀,并理解本課的五個新單詞:young, heavy, old , funny, kind;
2、能掌握句型:Who’s your…? What’s he /she like? 并能在具體的語境中運(yùn)用;
3、培養(yǎng)學(xué)生熱愛、尊敬老師的情感。
教學(xué)建議
Ⅰ.Warm-up
1、Show a picture of some classrooms. (采用圖片或CAI的形式呈現(xiàn),根據(jù)不同學(xué)校的條件
而定)
Music room /Art room /Computer room / Lab
2、點(diǎn)擊CAI,各個教室出現(xiàn)不同的老師或繼續(xù)采用圖片的形式:將各個教師貼到相應(yīng)的
教室里。
Who is he/she?
He /She ‘s our Music / Art / Computer / Science teacher.
3、根據(jù)以前學(xué)過的描述人物的形容詞,結(jié)合呈現(xiàn)的教師自編一個CHANT,營造課堂氣
氛,激發(fā)學(xué)生的積極性,同時也為下面引出新詞作鋪墊。
Chant: Tall, tall, tall, Computer teacher. is tall.
Short , short ,short , Science teacher. is short.
Thin , thin ,thin , Art teacher. is thin.
Fat , fat ,fat ,Music teacher. is fat.
Funny , funny, funny ,they’re so funny!
II. Presentation
1、采用CAI 的形式設(shè)計一位轉(zhuǎn)學(xué)來校就讀的新朋友:Zip讓他做一個有趣的動作.
T: This is Zip, he is….
S: Funny!
T: Yes, he is funny, do you like him ? This term he will be our new classmate.
2、CAI點(diǎn)擊Zip,讓Zip自己介紹:Hello! I’m Zip .I’m glad to be your new classmate. This is a picture of my former school.(CAI出示主情景圖)
3、CAI: Zip介紹自己的老師:
(a) Look! This is my math teacher (教師拿出一本數(shù)學(xué)書解釋).He’s tall and thin.
T: Who is your Chinese teacher?Zip假裝聽不清,教師適時讓全班學(xué)生一起問他:Who is your Chinese teacher?
T:Miss Zhang. What’s she like?(學(xué)生read,教師用態(tài)勢語幫助學(xué)生理解)Can you tell me ?
Ss: He’s short and fat!
Zip: Yes, he’s short and heavy .(read 用夸張的的體態(tài)語描述)
Practice: “heavy”. (出示一些卡通胖人物的圖片:Zoom, Zhu Bajie , etc)
(b) Ss:(教師啟發(fā)學(xué)生問) Who is your music teacher and who is your art teacher?
Zip:Guess !
Ss guess.
Ss: What’s he /she like ?(compare)
Zip: She is young and he is old(長著胡須). (read)
Practise: T:I ’m old ,you are young.
讓學(xué)生逐個說:I’m young , you are old.
(c) Ss :Who is your computer teacher?
Zip:M r Li.
T:(出示這位老師和藹可親的笑臉)What’s he like?
Ss: He’s…(讓學(xué)生隨意描述,之后教師導(dǎo)出kind)
播放常識老師悉心輔導(dǎo)Zip的一個片段,Zip:My Science teacher is kind ,too.
T: Let’s see, in our school, who is kind? Am I kind?
Practise: My …teacher is kind./ XX is kind.(讓學(xué)生說說自己的老師和同學(xué))
Ⅲ. Practice/Consolidation
●活動設(shè)計①:Make a new chant. (CAI)
My grandma is old, my mother is young.
My father is tall, my little brother’s short.
Zoom is heavy, Zip is funny.
They are all very kind. And I’m kind, too.
活動目的:綜合呈現(xiàn)新學(xué)單詞,在歌謠中得以鞏固,避免機(jī)械地朗讀。
●活動設(shè)計②: Read and link.

活動過程:點(diǎn)擊單詞,把單詞拖到相對應(yīng)的圖片下。如單詞與圖片能對應(yīng)起來,會發(fā)出鼓勵的掌聲; 如不能對應(yīng),單詞會自動回到原處。另外,也可以放在學(xué)校的網(wǎng)站上,讓學(xué)生課后試一試。
活動目的:字形、字意的鞏固; 在游戲中正確判斷單詞的意思。
●活動設(shè)計③:Listen and write the words.
課上教師發(fā)給學(xué)生每人一份材料。

Sue: Nice to see you again, Donny.
Donny: Nice to see you too, Sue.
Sue: Donny, we have a new English teacher. She’s Miss Yang.
Donny: Oh, what’s she like?
Sue: She’s young and kind. And she’s very funny. Oh, Donny, who’s your English teacher?
Donny: Mr. Fang.
Sue: What’s he like?
Donny: He’s old and heavy. But he’s very smart. All of us like him very much.
Sue: It’s time for class, see you next time.
Donny: See you.
活動目的:培養(yǎng)學(xué)生聽的能力和辨認(rèn)單詞的能力。
●活動設(shè)計④:Look and find. Circle the words.
活動目的:培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的觀察能力和辨認(rèn)單詞的能力。
●活動設(shè)計⑤:Describe the pictures.(CAI)
Ask and answer: Who’s this…? He’s/ She’s… What’s he/she like? He’s/She’s…
活動目的:多媒體呈現(xiàn)一些人物圖片,形式可以全班問答,小組問答,個人描述等; 學(xué)生可以自由選擇。
●活動設(shè)計⑥:Discuss the pictures.
活動目的:學(xué)生自由操練,自帶家人,朋友,老師等的照片,在真實的情境中,綜合運(yùn)用所學(xué)語言,學(xué)以致用,進(jìn)行交際。
●活動設(shè)計⑦:Guessing game!
語言:——Who’s your good friend?
——Guess!
——Boy or girl?
——Boy!
——What’s he like?
——He’s tall and cool. He has two big eyes. He’s eleven.…
——Is he Fei Xiang…?
——No!/Yeah, you are right.
活動形式:Ss—S;S—S.
活動目的:在“猜猜看”的游戲情景中運(yùn)用本節(jié)課所學(xué)語言
