Do you know eighty days to travel around the earth? What is to rely on around? The plane? NO, age at the time of the steam engine, the only train and ship. And the protagonist of the book is to use both of transportation, travel around the earth eighty days.
This book is primarily concerned with the gentleman Mr Fogg and his play bridge players bet, eighty days to go around the earth back to London, bet is twenty thousand pounds. He first help yourself to the estimation of time schedule: London to suez - 7 days; And from the suez to mumbai - 13 days; Starting from mumbai to Calcutta - three days; Then from Calcutta to Hong Kong - 13 days; From Hong Kong to yokohama, after 6 days; Then from yokohama to San Francisco - 22 days; From San Francisco to New York again - 7 days; Then return from New York to London - 9 days. A total of 80 - days.
On the way, they met with a widow, named $amount to, she is going to in human ceremony, burned with her husband's body. Mr Fogg, with his wisdom to save her.
