謙虛的英語作文【篇一】
As the saying goes: "modesty helps one to go forward, whereas conceit makes one lag behind." Indeed, my experience is in line with the request.
I used the examination once test is very good, but because I am proud of, so the class more than 40 people, I just tested 20! This is what I deserve it, who call I was
proud of?
In the fourth grade Chinese final exam last semester, I accidentally got a high score, I smile, think you are a genius. No one is smarter than I am, no one is higher than
my points, I was ecstatic, promote my score to others everywhere, feel great, but go to deliberately laugh at students who are failing. I don't have to care about their
self-esteem. When they hear students scores are lower than me, I am more excited. After school, I immediately ran home, want to hurry up to tell me good parents. Mom and

好消息，夸獎了我，我更自豪了!可是，在下學(xué)期語文考試時，我竟然得了個倒數(shù)第七!，我頓時傻眼了。我不想再理會任何人，看到分數(shù)高的同學(xué)高興的樣子，我心里產(chǎn)生了嫉妒，可心里又想
�。�“在我考高分的時候，我也是這么高興呀。”真是驕傲惹的禍!

"Modesty helps one to go forward, whereas conceit makes one lag behind" is I recently often say a word, because I'm proud that I failed the midterm exam!
The beginning of this semester I was pretty good educational not 100 is 99, so I often get the teacher praise, the envy of the classmate, is something of a history.
In a few days before the mid-term exam, the teacher repeatedly asked us to review. Can be proud of but I didn't put it in the eye, think oneself what all need not review.
After the mid-term exam wasn't long before the examination paper can send down, a look at what had an average score of 90 points, down too residual! Look in the wrong

這個學(xué)期剛開始我的三科成績挺不錯的不是100就是99，所以我常常得到老師表揚，同學(xué)的'羨慕，就有些飄飄然了。
在將要期中考試的前幾天，老師再三囑咐我們要復(fù)習(xí)好�？沈湴磷源蟮奈覅s沒把這件事放在眼里，以為自己什么都會不用復(fù)習(xí)了。期中考試后沒過多久試卷就發(fā)下來了，一看自己的三科平均分數(shù)
才90分，跌得太殘了!往錯的地方一看基礎(chǔ)題錯太多了就連好簡單的我也錯了。這能怪誰，就怪驕傲的我沒認真復(fù)習(xí)把我的黃梁美夢給“泡湯”了!自作自受!!
我把試卷那給媽媽簽名，媽媽看了看不但沒有責(zé)罵我，反而對我親切地說：“我給你講《龜兔賽跑》的故事，這個故事是你聽過的，但今天我一定要講給你聽。”“一天，烏龜和兔子比賽跑步，
兔子很快跑到了山腰就轉(zhuǎn)身看看剛爬幾步的烏龜，就找了個舒服的地方睡大覺。烏龜一步一步地爬，終于趕在兔子前面獲得了勝利。”媽媽語重心長地說：“你看，笨重的烏龜都能取勝，這跟學(xué)
習(xí)一模一樣，虛心就能進步，驕傲只會落后。”聽了媽媽這番話真讓我受益匪淺，深深銘刻在我的心里。
“虛心使人進步，驕傲使人落后”這句話將會在我以后成長的道路上時刻伴隨著我，鞭策著我。
