在這令人高興的日子里，許多的人都去了公園，超市這類地方。我呢，只去了外公的家鄉(xiāng)——溝南村蘭桂湖。那里是我舅舅跟溝南居委會(huì)承包的一個(gè)大池塘。舅舅在那里做生意，主要承包宴席，做的菜有走地雞、甜番薯芋頭、螃蟹炒面、拌菜鴨、黃瓜炒大蝦等等。我們中午在這里吃飯，吃的就是這些，怎么樣，很豐盛吧!
再說說這個(gè)大池塘吧，里邊有許多舅舅飼養(yǎng)的魚，黑魚，鯽魚，草魚，蝦……每當(dāng)我看到這個(gè)大池塘，我就想起以往在這兒釣魚的好時(shí)光。
這里不但有大池塘，還有很多的家禽。有雞、鴨、鵝、粉鳥、信鴿和幾條忠實(shí)的大狗，五只剛買回來的鸚鵡和一只會(huì)說話的八哥。這只八哥可有趣了，每次我們來這里，都一定會(huì)陪它玩，它會(huì)唱歌，會(huì)發(fā)出發(fā)射子彈時(shí)“咚咚咚”“噠噠噠”的聲音，更絕的是，它模仿摩托車啟動(dòng)的聲音跟真的一樣，有好幾次舅舅跑出來看看究竟是誰在啟動(dòng)摩托車，結(jié)果都沒有什么人，后來才發(fā)現(xiàn)原來是它在作怪。
中午在這兒吃飽飯后，外公、我和弟弟撐著小船在大池塘游了一圈。外公在船頭劃槳，我和弟弟坐在船中央。我環(huán)顧四周，情不自禁地感嘆道：啊!環(huán)境真好，各種各樣的野生植物都生長(zhǎng)在湖邊，幾個(gè)小男孩在對(duì)岸追逐玩耍著，不時(shí)傳來“嘻嘻哈哈”的笑聲。湖里常常跳出一些魚兒，好像是在向我們打招呼。上岸之后，媽媽就帶我們回家了，我們只好依依不舍的告別了這個(gè)大池塘。
這次國(guó)慶游真令人感到快樂啊!

到家時(shí)，已是8點(diǎn)鐘，累了一天的我躺在媽媽的懷里沉沉的睡去。
